Please utilize all of the following to be sure your event information reaches across the UConn Hartford Community:

Events Calendar

Enter the event onto the University Events Calendar (which gets it onto the radar to be sent out on our Social Media as well):

  • Go to events.uconn.edu
  • Scroll to bottom and click “Submit Event” button at the bottom right
  • Log in with Net ID and Password
  • Click “Submit Event” at the bottom right for form
  • Upload an event image and fill in all information
  • Change location to “Hartford Campus” or “Downtown Hartford” depending on event venue
  • Select “Hartford Campus” for Primary Campus
  • Remove UConn Master Calendar (unless event is of interest in Storrs as well)
  • Click “Submit Event” in the form box to complete

Once your event has been approved, it appears on the Upcoming Events calendar found at the bottom of the UConn Hartford homepage (where you can link to view “All Events” as well).  A URL will be generated to use when submitting your event to UConn Hartford Today or UConn Daily Digest.

UConn Hartford Today – Our Campus Digest for Events and Announcements

UConn Hartford Today delivers news of announcements and events that are officially sponsored or sanctioned by the campus and is sent via email over the fall and spring semesters each weekday.  Over summer the digest is sent weekly if items are submitted.  Two versions are provided to keep students and faculty and staff members well informed of campus updates and the many opportunities that are available to make the most of your experience as a UConn Hartford community member.

All submissions are screened by campus moderators who reserve the right to edit postings for consistency and clarity.

UConn Daily Digest

The UConn Faculty/Staff Daily Digest is delivered weekdays at 11 a.m. to all faculty, staff and graduate students across ALL CAMPUSES, including the Schools of Law and Social Work.

The Student Daily Digest is sent to undergraduate and BGS students at the Storrs and regional campuses. All submissions are screened by official moderators who reserve the right to edit postings for consistency and clarity.

The Daily Digest is only for events and announcements that are officially sponsored or sanctioned by or affiliated with the University.
